What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is a holistic, medicine-free system of healing. It works on the principle that body has the power to heal itself. Naturopathy aims to restore vitality through therapeutic food, yoga and natural therapies.

Is Naturopathy treatment done by authorized doctors ?

Yes. In India, there is separate ministry for Alternative Systems of Healing i.e. AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy). Naturopathy is practiced by qualified BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) practitioners.

What does a Naturopathy treatment include ?

A Naturopathy treatment typically involves therapeutic diet, yoga and natural therapies (mud, water, sun, air, fasting, acupressure, acupuncture etc.). There is no medicine used in the treatment as naturopathy uses food as medicine. Detoxification therapies are very important part of a naturopathy treatment.

Do I have to stop my medication when I take Naturopathy treatment ?

No. typically patients are advised to continue their existing medication and follow naturopathy treatment in parallel. Once they start seeing results in their health parameters, medicines are gradually reduced in consultation with their physician.

Are there any side-effects of a naturopathy treatment ?

Naturopathy treatment is completely safe and does not have any side-effects. In the first few days of the treatment of a chronic disease, some symptoms might be aggravated as the dormant toxins become active but these will subside on their own.

What will happen after I close my program? How do I sustain ?

At the end of the program, we provide maintenance plan for diet, yoga and home therapies. If you adhere to the guidelines, you will be able to manage good health in longer run.

How do I take naturopathy treatment if I stay in a different city/country?

We offer remote consultations (on call/Skype/Video) that you can avail from your own location which also includes regular weekly follow-ups. This is best suited for individuals who are unable to go for in-person naturopathy treatment.

Is Naturopathy safe for children?

Yes, Naturopathy is completely safe for children. It is very beneficial for their preventive health. Please consult a qualified Naturopathy physician for proper guidance as per child’s age and conditions.

Does naturopathy help old age people ?

Yes. Naturopathy is very helpful for old age also as it helps in maintaining their health symptoms with natural means (pain, weight, digestion etc) and in preventing possible old age diseases.

If I have multiple health issues, what approach is used for treatment ?

Naturopathy is a holistic treatment which treats the person and not just one disease. All recommendations given during the treatment, are provided considering overall health conditions of the person. Thus, it helps in improving all health symptoms as well as improving person’s immunity levels.

Is Naturopathy and Ayurveda same?

No. Naturopathy and Ayurveda are different systems of healing under AYUSH Ministry. While both systems emphasize on the importance of using natural means for healing, Ayurveda treatments typically involve the use of herbal medicines while Naturopathy does not involve any kind of medicines. It uses food, yoga and natural therapies for the treatment.

Do you have residential treatment facility?

No. We run OPD Clinics. However, we can connect you to good naturopathy centers near to your location.

Do you provide home treatment facility?
